Après ses victoires prometteuses à Houston et Atlanta, Christophe Pourcel réalise une superbe 2ème place au Supercross d'Indianapolis en catégorie Lites.

La grille de départ d’Indianapolis tombe, Nico Izzi et Will Hahn s’envolent mais derrière c’est le carnage, tous les autres pilotes s’empilent. Pour la 2éme fois en 2 semaines, le drapeau rouge est sortie, Nicco Izzi et les autres survivants son invité a arrêter leur course en tête puis a rejoindre la grille de départ une nouvelle fois.
Pour ce second départ, Darryn Durham, Martin Davalos et Philip Nicoletti ne repartiront pas. Aller c’est reparti, Christophe Pourcel par en tête avec juste derrière lui Austin Stroupe son co-équipier qui veut sa revanche, Steven Clarke, Matt Lemoine, Levi Kilbarger et Nico Izzi. Des le premier tour, Christophe Pourcel et Austin Stroupe rentre en bagarre pour détenir le poste de leader et Austin Stroupe passe le Français.Chris Pourcel pousse pour creuser un trou entre les autres concurrents.
A la fin, le top 5 est Austin Stroupe, Christophe Pourcel, Nico Izzi, Branden Jesseman, and Steven Clarke.
