Supercross ama 250cc Daytona 2014 – Première victoire de Blake Baggett

Blake Baggett a fait un début de saison plutôt décevant mais ce week-end à Daytona, le pilote Kawasaki Monster Energy est revenu dans la course pour le titre.

C’est Martin Davalos qui réalise le holeshot devant Blake Baggett et le leader du championnat 250cc côte Est Adam Cianciarulo. Après deux tours, Blake Baggett et Martin Davalos arrivent pratiquement en même temps sur un saut, Baggett atterrit mieux que son coéquipier et le double. Cinq tours plus tard, Adam Cianciarulo attaque Martin Davalos et le passe après une belle bagarre. Les positions ne bougeront plus jusqu’au drapeau à damier.

Blake Baggett remporte enfin sa première victoire de la saison en devançant Adam Cianciarulo de plus de seize secondes et Martin Davalos de dix-sept.

Au championnat SX ama 250cc côte Est, Adam Cianciarulo mène avec sept points d’avance sur Martin Davalos second et quinze sur Blake Baggett troisième.
